Welcome
Types of Attack
- A Biological Attack – the deliberate release of germs or another biological substance that will make individuals sick. Some threats can cause contagious diseases, such as smallpox, and others do not, such as Anthrax.
- A Chemical Attack – the deliberate release of a toxic gas, liquid or solid that can poison people and the environment. Many people will suffer from watery eyes, twitching, choking, trouble breathing, or loss of coordination.
- A Radiation Attack – the use of common explosives to spread radioactive contamination. The force of the explosion and the radioactive contamination will be more localized than a nuclear blast. The presence of radiation will not be immediately obvious, until defined by trained personnel with specialized equipment.
- A Nuclear Blast – an explosion with intense light and heat, a damaging pressure wave and widespread radioactive material that can contaminate the air, water and ground surfaces for miles around.
